Here’s what’s on Randy’s Vinyl Tap for May 14/15 2016
In the late summer of 1890, French impressionist painter Claude Monet began a series of paintings he called "Haystacks"... from late summer until the following spring he completed a series of 25 images of hay and grain stacks around his home. Each one depicting changes of light, climate or season.
On this encore edition of Vinyl Tap, Randy Bachman takes us on another run down the vinyl highway and he shares a series of tunes he calls "Hey-stacks"...all the songs in the playlist include the word hey in the title at least once.
The artist featured include Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Toni Basil, Ray Charles, No Doubt, Train, BTO, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin and a stack of others.
Hey You...Hey! Get out of my way but be sure to tune in to the Tap.
