Here’s what’s on Randy’s Vinyl Tap for Nov 11/12 2017
It has been an epic trip along the Vinyl Tap vinyl highway and this week, the journey comes to an end as Randy Bachman has the fourth and final show in the series he calls “Then and Now”.
Back then, The Beatles were the most successful pop group of all time and each of the members went on to solo careers. Ringo Starr recorded a couple of albums, John Lennon’s life and solo career was cut short in 1980, George Harrison recorded and toured right up to his death in 2001. And now, Paul McCartney continues to record and tour. He has hinted that one day he might finish work on a John Lennon song called… wait for it… “Now and Then”. Talk about coming full circle.
In addition to the Beatles, this week’s playlist features music from Tina Turner, Robbie Robertson, Justin Timberlake, Dave Grohl, Steve Winwood and others.
So, come together, experience some instant karma and be sure to tune in to the Tap.
