Here’s what’s on Randy’s Vinyl Tap for Oct 22/23 2016
On this edition of Vinyl Tap Randy Bachman has a whole heap of hurtin’ songs.
In 1964, Gene Pitney released a song called “It Hurts To Be In Love”. It was a top ten hit and another in the long line of chart topping pop songs written by the many talented people at New York’s Brill Building. It is also one of many, many songs exploring the more painful side of relationships.
This week’s playlist features tunes by Nazareth, The Beach Boys, Culture Club, The Pretenders,
Elmore James, R.E.E, The Carpenters and many others.
Everybody hurts some times and it hurts to be in love but there is relief if you be sure to tune in to the Tap.
