Here's what's on Tap for Oct 28/29 2017
This week on Vinyl Tap, Randy Bachman continues to flip through his “Then and Now” catalogue.
Randy is by no means the first to make these comparisons or to try to show a musician’s evolution from one band to another or from a band member to a solo artist. And it’s a device used by photographers, painters, writes and many other artists. In fact, Canadian poet John McRae, best-known for his moving poem “In Flanders Fields”, wrote a poem called “Then and Now” in the early part of the last century.
But on Vinyl Tap the focus is on music and the artists featured include Eric Burdon, Eric Clapton, Dion and The Belmonts, Creedence Clearwater Revival, BTO’s Fred Turner, Linda Ronstadt and many others.
So even if you march to the beat of a different drum just roll on down the highway and be sure to tune in to the Tap.
